Dilution notice
If a compound turns cloudy after it is reconstituted, the cause is almost always the reconstitution solution rather than the compound itself, and non-laboratory-grade solutions are the usual culprit. For this reason, cloudiness cannot be accepted as grounds for a refund unless the reconstitution was done using a laboratory-grade reconstitution solution.
Description
Semax is a seven-amino-acid peptide that researchers study for signaling pathways associated with learning and memory. Research includes brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein involved in how nerve cells maintain and adapt their connections. Laboratory studies have examined how Semax influences this signaling system and gene activity in brain tissue.
Research context
- Studied for its influence on immune and blood-vessel gene signaling in brain research.1
- Researched for BDNF and TrkB signaling associated with learning and memory.2
- Investigated for specific binding in brain tissue and changes in BDNF levels relevant to communication between nerve cells.3
